Cincinnati celebrates CRISPAZ's 25th with an evening fundraiser at Laurel Court, Oct. 16
When: Friday evening, Oct. 16, from 5:30 to 9 pm.
Where: Laurel Court, on Belmont Avenue in Cincinnati's College Hiill neighborhood. This historic mansion, a Cincinnati landmark, was once home to Archbishop of Cincinnati as well as other fascinating owners (see www.laurelcourt.com).
What: An evening which includes tours of the historic estate, presentations about CRISPAZ and its current programs, live musical entertainment and hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to speak with former CRISPAZ volunteers who have served the dispossessed of El Salvador. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
Why:
- To mark the impact CRISPAZ has had in the Queen City over the past 25 years as an important part of the Sanctuary Movement from the mid 1980s through the early 90s.
- To reconnect with CRISPAZ supporters past and present and share stories about El Salvador
- to help ensure a future for CRISPAZ and its work of accompaniment in El Salvador. Donations will be accepted!
